  • Why recycle my clothes?
The fashion industry plays an important role in the social and environmental crisis. Clothing production is indeed a major source of pollution and working conditions and wages are far from fair. To change things and hope to live in a better world, it is important that everyone becomes aware of their actions in order to make changes, however small they may be. Of course, we are not asking you to stop shopping but to think better before buying, always keeping in mind that the moment you hold out your card to buy a new item of clothing, you are feeding the cycle vicious garment that often ends up in the trash. It is not so complicated to adopt a more ethical consumption. First of all, start by sorting through your dressing room, which contains many forgotten wonders! Many of us have a closet full to bursting and yet we keep complaining that we have nothing to wear. But then, what to do with these clothes that clutter our closets? If you liked them once, it's because there's bound to be something in them that you like, so identify the reason why you no longer wear them to give them new life and love them again or give them a second life through donation, exchange or sale.
  • How to choose your recycling method?
Not all clothes are intended for sale, which is why some have difficulty selling. Our clothes have not been worn with the same frequency and therefore their condition is different and they do not have the same value; it is for this reason that we offer several alternatives on our application and others will follow. In order to choose the right recycling mode, try to answer these questions, how many times I have worn it, what condition it is in and how much I estimate its current value. You can also use the guide in our application which will suggest a recycling method.
  • What is the recycling guide for?
The recycling guide accompanies you in the choice of recycling, it directs you to the best way to give a second life to your article. It is an algorithm that we have taken care to create based on market knowledge and studies on consumer habits.
  • Do my actions have an impact?
Yes, your individual actions but also and above all collective actions, i.e. all the items recycled via the Slowly app. You will find this information on the home page at the very top with also the number of kg of CO2 saved as well as the number of Slowers (members).
